After about four months elapsed study time. I think I'm slowly learning to adapt to university. From the beginning, I do not read brief carefully but now I read each brief with each word very carefully. A lot of my inspiration comes from my daily life, then sometimes I only can see my own point of view. So every tutor gave me extremely useful suggestions. Learning to use workshop helped me a lot, which the instructors often give recommendations to my modeling. I need to learn more from experienced people, like my tutors. I think some of my research is not enough, I was limited to visiting museums and exhibitions, I should read books little more.

I think each brief are designed very well, sometimes I see the topic would think it will be very easy, but carefully read the brief I will found many requirements and conditions. For me is a challenge, because I do not have the ability to reach a designer yet, I need more of that brief to exercise their own. My projects always need me to take into account more than two things. For example, taking into account the stability and comfort (shoes project); both sales and Budget (POP-UP project). And I also met some projects can open my mine, like Toy Project and Spring Project, which have no limitations, I can enlarge my imagination and understanding of the topic. But sometimes I thinking too much, I want to put so many ideas on one project, too many want to reflect something that is reflected in the final product does not come out, I need more focus on the brief. I think a successful products need to experience functional appearance. I need to strengthen it. I also have a team cooperation project, and I need to work with the other two classmates, that project a test of our skills and ability to cooperate. My team has a very successful collaboration, we are cooperation from procurement, cutting, we have a great teamwork. We will discuss problems encountered agree to resolve. My team is one of the earliest team to complete the chair. I also learned a lot of skills from my classmates.

This unit, I do understand pursuant brief to make the project. Use school workshop, and ask help from tutors. My tutors are all very experienced, they gave me suggestions and comments that I very needed. I put every project completed on time, some of them I am not satisfied, I have followed up after the deadline. I absorbed tutors recommendations into my own designs.

I still need to work harder. What I usually research is not enough, I need use the library in the school. And make enough testing model, I should do more testing, then back to school show my tutors. Next unit I want to try more different materials, learn more skills. I believe I can improve myself in the future. Get rid of some of the shortcomings, learn more skills and experience.
